With a hint of salt
And a splash of thyme
Leave it to simmer
with a dash of lime
Make sure your ingredients are all but fresh
Unless you like a royal right mess!
Add some pepper
and rude things on mind
to brew this stew
that’s unique in its kind
Leave it there for a day or so
For when it’s ready
Your friend will know
‘cause what’s in there is all but nice
It will leave their kitchen with things worse than mice!
In that pot left out to be cooling
Some vile mischief is a-brewing.
For high upon your old friend’s shelf
Is no more a pot,
But a new kitchen elf!
